From July-07 fiasco DOS and USICS work very closely on VB, I am referring to USCI and DOS. And USCIS is the one who influence DOS decision.

in FY08 we know for sure that EB2 Inida quota has been consumed. That gives a definite number of approvals to use for estimation. When i estimate that represents 6.75% of these cases (all cases upto Dec03), this ratio is a reasonable estimate of all the people who do not register.

Congrats Dude!
My PD is EB2- Dec 2003, but my RD is Aug 2nd, 07. TSC currently procsses June end 485 applications. Do they pick application for process purely on RD? Considering large # of applications filed during July 07' ,do I have to wait for long time to see my magic email..?
Thanks Buddy ,It looks like your case should be getting picked up soon,As mentioned my wife's case was received on July 7th, 2007 & I'm still waiting for her approval. I had been to immigration local office to schedule biometrics which they did & I got it done on 5/17 after which I got the Card in production email on 5/19.I hope to get the physical card in next few days.
I wish you all the luck. I'm sure you should see your approval in next 30-45 days max.

Ash, I agree with the message but you need to work on the choice of words. This not ethnic cleansing or lynching or systematic targetting. I'd say America is going into a protectionist mode. When you are in that mode, the first step is to keep aliens at a distance.

Except for myself and Rajeev, no one joined the conference call tonight. C'mmon guys, we need some action here. We all ought to participate in these calls. I had done some calculations long ago, it guestimated that 5~6% of people are registered with traciitt.
One guy recently posted on that out of 30 AOS applicants in his company only 2 had entered their info on .
That would be 6.67% Which is close to the results of your calculations.

What is meant by "Rejected" here?
-FedEx not accepted on July 2nd
-They took the packet and in 2-3 days they opened it and returned back some after inputting in their database
-Packet is still with them but they generated a rejection notice that was sent to lawyer/candidate
-Rejection email was sent to lawyer/candidate

-USCIS's July 2nd bulletin just said all applications received would be returned/rejected and Greg's thought is that the whole pile must be kept somewhere with the action planned "to be rejected" and nobody is taking action on it and USCIS has to be made aware about that or in their yesterday's UPDATE they forgot to touch about this. ( To me this is internal processing matter of USCIS)

I contacted my attorney but so far no reply. Will update all of you.

Answer: A person who fails to maintain status for over 180 days may have a problem obtaining the approval of the I-485, which allows a maximum of 180 days for one to be out of status under Section 245(k) of the INA, unless the person is covered under 245(i) of the INA. Sometimes, though, the fault of the employer in not paying the salary while the person is considered an employee may not pose a problem but at other times it may pose a problem. Not having pay stubs will certainly adversely impact the ability to obtain an extension or change of status from the USCIS. Jun-20-2005.

I opened the mailbox at home this evening and to my complete surprise -- the physical card! Sudden burst of efficiency at USCIs, 6 days from approval to actual delivery of card.

At the minimum legal action will force someone to look into what is going on here. I don't think that AILA is going to partner with us in this initiative.
